Why can't we ?

Am not the one who could change the world, but one of millions who want it to happen. Day to day moments and a thought will spurn and strike, "Why can't we"?

  • Why can't we have one curreny throughout the planet, that would have all of us with no boundaries.

  • Why can't we have a standby heart, just like a backup Hard drive or a backup airplane engine, that comes to life when the first fails. I wouldn't mind if my iPOD is bulkier and they don't come up with something smaller, but yes, if they could invest more money on humans that will be so much better. There is always space in the left side.

  • Why can't we have humans be cloned? I would never loose my dear ones! Think of it. No one ever leaves you, ever! Of course there will be limited space on the planet but no demise, no member lost, a family is always full. Bliss! ..and why can't we clone the animals getting extinct?
  • Why can't we have kids chosen just like Spartans or Jews, they genetically check the baby before having it, this ensures every human taking birth is healthier and have more chances of survival. If Spartans could do it, hundreds of years ago, why can't we. It should be made compulsory for all to be healthy. A tax for being over and under weight???

  • Why can't we harness the abyssal power of mind. It can control anything on this planet. It is true what the Hindu Rishi could do with their brain in their control. What a brain could do, is unimaginable and that's the irony.
I recently heard about a new LED being developed that would be too small in size and yet could light the entire room and would cost even lesser than CFL. Now that's something nice for human race.

Then I heard Stem cell therapy that might cure cancer completely at what ever stage of the disease you are. Its like Microsoft Windows technique called "Switch to last know good configuration" and Voala !! you are as good as new :)

But then, is anybody else even bothered to invent something new, what was the last time an invention was made?

  • Why can't we all speak the same language?
  • Why can't richer countries not bomb others and give all the money to some who are dying of hunger. I mean why can't we see, the difference of people living in oppulence which they don't need and people who could serve you for rest of their lives for few rice grains. Grow up world, think beyond countries, its a human that you feed and human that you kill.
  • There is always Sun at some part of the world. Anytime during 24 hrs, some part of the world will always have sun light. Why can't we channel all the countries together and as they sun moves from one to another, we generate the power and send to others. This way every country will help other and we would always have power.
  • Why can't we simply realize that our parents are same ...for all of us... and in the end, we are humans?
  • If the world becomes one nation, wouldn't it be better planet?

What on Earth happened to everyone

Got just a little late, but late enough for all the free newspapers to be emptied out from the stands.

Never mind. Hopped on

I got a place to stand where I could look over at a young man in his late twenties sitting and reading a newspaper.

I could read the headlines and the content. He was slow, that helped me complete mine just as he did before flipping.

"Girl 16, handicapped, raped and burnt by three guys" .

Aaaarrgggg.........Disgusting and excruciating. It boils every single part inside the body. I almost grind my entire jaw. Just when I was about to read more to know if the victim was still alive, the man flips the page

"Guilty Pleasure " , the celebrity and famous personalities cut outs in skimpy clothes.

To my expectation the guy spent the maximum time on this page.

What on earth has happened to us, we have become worse than animals. Its only human who can understand else's pain. It is suppose to be HUMANS. 3 men and a handicap young girl. How would you not curse them the filthiest death someone has ever got.

I didn't know who was the biggest culprit, the guys who did it ( ofcourse they are the biggest ), or guys like him, who don't even bother reading what's happening in the real world, but are really interested to know the cup size of a TV presenter.

Such heinous souls.

I have never heard of animals doing it. We are one s*** race.

Proud to be an Indian

The train was absolutely full, I was cramped between three brazilian teenagers and one english couple who couldn't keep their lips apart. It was too sweaty and every station was putting more inside the train rather out.

I was hoping my side of doors do not open. My station was 9th and with this crowd, I was sure I would suffocate by 6th. I was expecting huge crowd, but expectation and being cramped head to toe in it are very different things.

People were dressed for the occasion and you could know which country they were supporting. It was the biggest match of 2009 with current world cup holders Italy and 4 time winners Brazil were to play in the marvellous Emirates Stadia.

My colleagues had left early and I was doing the last minute chase. After reaching the 9th station, I just knew I had to move with the crowd. It was evident all were headed to the destination, the moment those teenagers got off, they mingled with others who were similarly dressed and started yelling, BRASIL, BRASIL..... and then ... a huge uproar, the entire train was almost shouting together. I realized who's the favorite tonight.

Suddenly I heard INDIA, INDIA...... Surprised I tried locating the epicentre of the vociferous patriotic chanting. Though not even the refree in tonight's game was an Indian, leave aside any player.

It was a gang of 8-10 Sikhs, tall and broad and shouting at the top of their lungs, their country name. I smiled and felt proud. No matter where and no matter how, you would find people of my country that know how to make their presence known.

One similar and hugely proud moment was at the biggest movie event of the world.

The Oscars

Weren't we everywhere on that day? :)

It was an enormous pleasure to see small kids from Dharavi to be standing right at the front of the strongest actors on the planet and smiling. Irfan Khan, A.R.Rahman, Anil Kapoor, I was down in tears to see that we have made a mark finally to the world how talented our contrymen are and few more years and there wouldn't be any year when an Indian doesn't win an Oscar.

An Indian song played and performed on stage, is so touching. Though the entire credit goes to Danny Boyle and his lobbying to get the movie so much attention, but he mentioned everywhere in his speech, had it not been Mumbai he wouldn't be able to make the movie at all. He was all praise for each and every person helped making him the movie and it was more pleasant to hear more Indian Names.

I hope to make my country proud someday, but right now, its my country that makes me proud.
